Last fall the ground was excavated beneath the deluxe and private deluxe rooms to create five new luxury rooms and a trout pond. We also added a new hot tub, 10 new fireplaces as well as new and more spacious decks on the back. The process has been lengthy, but our patience has paid off.

Stepping into the new luxury suite you notice right away the mixture of the rustic history and current luxury of -RR. The crimson-golden wood floors and antique wood trim are actually all wood from the original -RR cabins dating back to the early 1900s. The cabins had been dismantled and the wood stored for decades. Proprietor Patrick Hurd acquired the wood a year or so ago and immediately knew he wanted to use it in his new rooms. The old tongue and groove wood floors have been reinstalled in the new suite, sanded and oiled giving the suite a sophisticated rustic allure.
