The mountains are dusted with snow, the trees are loosing their leaves, and the locals are pulling out their ski gear in anticipation of catching some pre-season turns. But before we shift gears into our winter season here at the lodge, we’d like to say thank you to all of you who visited this summer. We enjoyed having you as our guest and hope you enjoyed your stay.

A reminder for those of you traveling this fall, our off-season hours are as follows: The restaurant closes October 14 and re-opens December 14. Where can you get one of the best steaks in ski country? The Rainbow Ranch Lodge, according to the October issue of SKI Magazine. “A carnivore’s guide to the best steaks in ski country” by Everett Potter includes –RR’s pan-roasted beef tenderloin.

Our tenderloin comes from the Double R Ranch in Washington where the beef is grass-fed and of the highest quality. We are glad Mr. Potter agrees with our choice.
